Today we're going to be talking about the best online reputation management companies, otherwise known as the best ORM agencies as well. Some people call it ORM, some people call it online reputation management. Myself and James, we have done a lot of consultancy over the years. We've also helped a lot of people remove mugshots and do crisis management. So James, what are some strategies that you use for ORM when it comes to Promo SEO for example?

Yeah. Obviously as the founder of Promo SEO, I'm trying my best to make certain that any clients we work with have good online branding. They could be entrepreneurs, business owners, or a corporate brand. To do that, we're using all the same SEO strategies that we use to rank websites, but we're trying to rank all the social profiles as well. We want to control that first page with positive narrative and sentiment around the brand. They should sound good, have amazing reviews ranking, testimonials ranking, and so on. It's all heavily related to SEO, but it's not just about ranking one website. We want to control the top 20 results.

Kasra Dash:
Yeah. You've done a lot of consultancy work for a large brand that has grown massively in the ORM space, and that's Elite Reputation Management. Why have they grown so fast in the last 12 months and why are they seen as the best online reputation management company?

Kasra Dash:
I think it all comes down to strategy. Once you fix someone’s reputation, they're going to shout about how great you are. The strategy differs depending on whether it’s a personal brand or a company. If it's a company facing a crisis, like terrible news, we try to control the narrative with digital press releases. We might turn something negative into a positive. For example, if a business has been acquired and customers see that as negative, we’ll twist the narrative. We also outrank negative platforms like Reddit by pushing them to page two. That’s extremely common at the minute. We're always trying to control not only page one but also page two.

James Dooley:
For sure. Another brand I'm heavily connected with is Fat Rank. Fat Rank is a market-leading UK ORM company. We generally only deal with UK clients, UK businesses, and UK entrepreneurs. There are others worldwide that Kasra will talk about soon, like Scott Keever. At Fat Rank, we have a very effective system to delete and remove negative content online. Many one-star reviews come from competitors. We are able to legally remove those. Removing or deleting is the best option if possible. Sometimes platforms won’t delete things, but if information is incorrect, we can reach journalists and get it taken down. Fat Rank is strong for removal and deletion of negative press.

Yeah. Over at Reputation Pros which is owned by Scott and operates under Kever SEO, he buys a lot of power posts from Searcheroo. There’s a lot of interconnection. If Scott needs something deleted, he might use Fat Rank. If he needs a UK approach, he might speak to Promo SEO. There are many reasons for ORM issues. Someone might have caused a car crash, it could be a mugshot, it could be one-star reviews, or a news article.

Reputation Pros are doing a great job in the US. If someone wants service in Florida or US-wide, I would refer them to Scott. Another name worth mentioning is Sam Olock in Dubai. He’s great for Google News and magazines. He has strong connections. A lot of ORM is who you know. Getting into major publications helps suppress images using tier 2 backlinks, power posts, and parasite SEO.

ORM is much harder than standard SEO. SEO is about ranking one site. ORM is ranking ten sites to outrank one bad article. You need to know videos, images, Google News, and much more.
